Why we use information
We use the information needed to process orders, arrange delivery within Kenya, reconcile payments, answer enquiries, manage accounts, prevent fraud and keep the website running. We also use site analytics to understand usage and improve the shop. Depending on the purpose, processing may be necessary for your order, required by law, based on a legitimate operational interest, or based on consent where applicable. We do not use contact details provided for an order as permission to send unrelated marketing.
Cookies and external services
Essential cookies support baskets, login and security. Google analytics tags are present on the site and may use cookies or similar identifiers. Google reCAPTCHA may process technical information for spam prevention. Contact form enquiries are also screened by Akismet, which may process your submitted contact details and message, IP address and browser information to detect spam. Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the website. Email and hosting services support customer communications and operations.
You can manage or delete cookies using your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout or login from working. For Google analytics controls, see Google’s browser opt-out tool. If you follow a WhatsApp link, your interaction with WhatsApp is governed by its own privacy terms. Please avoid sending sensitive health information through contact forms or chat.
Sharing and overseas processing
Order information may be shared with delivery providers, payment services and service providers as needed to fulfil your request, run the website or meet a legal obligation. Services such as Google, Akismet, Cloudflare and WhatsApp may process information outside Kenya. Their privacy terms explain their processing arrangements. Contact us if you need more information about a service or an overseas transfer connected with your information.
Storage and security
We use HTTPS, restricted administrative access and protected backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, order and accounting requirements, dispute resolution and applicable law. Information removed from the live site may remain in protected backups until those copies are replaced or removed.
Your choices and rights
Under Kenya’s data protection framework, you may request information about how your data is used, access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion or restriction where applicable. You may object to relevant processing and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some requests are subject to lawful retention requirements. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records.
Send requests through Contact us or call 0703 878 170. You can also raise a concern with Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
